Health Navigator Service

Available to all Membership levels for an additional charge, a Health Navigator can serve as an Explorer’s guide, health educator and advocate through the entire process of discovery, collaboration and treatment. Our unique Navigator program enlists a Registered Nurse who holds a national certification in holistic nursing and an education in traditional Western Medicine. This unique perspective combines a holistic philosophy and approach that includes awareness of body, mind and spirit with solid and substantive coaching skills.

The Nurse Navigator offers support, caring, advocacy and continuity of care during challenging times.

Navigators are knowledgeable and skilled in the integration of complimentary and conventional therapies. They use their knowledge to educate, communicate, and collaborate with Explorers, their families and diverse health care providers for achieving optimal results. Navigators are an essential tool for an Explorer to clearly understand unbiased choices in confronting the complex, diverse, political environment of today’s healthcare system.

The Navigator removes the usual obstacles of having to chase down healthcare providers to get questions answered and needs met. In addition, their role is to help the Explorer understand what is happening to them, why it is happening, and what the Explorer can do about it.
