Practitioner Corner:
Meryl Brandwein RD/LDN

My practice involves a wholistic approach to not only nutrition but to all of life. With a focus on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Alternative Medicine and Functional Medicine, I am able to provide my clients with a well balanced approach to health.

Practitioner Corner:
Laya Seghi, LCSW, CBP
Psychotherapist, BodyTalk Practitioner and BodyTalk ACCESS Trainer

Results extended beyond treatment goals, so that the effects experienced were no longer related to mental health issues alone, but affected the entire body-mind-spirit complex. Consequently, answering that question about what I do has become more and more challenging.

Breast cancer prevention requires addressing the real issues surrounding the global increase in incidence of breast cancer. Public health education, corporate responsibility, and governmental regulation of toxic chemicals and poor quality modern foods must be included in addressing the factors contributing to today’s cancer epidemic. Environmental factors influence an array of molecular mechanisms and consequently influence disease risk and gene expression.
